Deprecate support for Gradle versions < 8.2.1 #92

Gradle currently has limited support (planned backport(s)) for Gradle 7.

Gradle 8 is moving along fast; already going on the 5th minor release.

To move the plugin forward, versions < 8.2.1 will be phased out.
