Release 2 cff version: version 1.0.0
Python version: 3.5.4
Operating System: Fedora

Description

Realease for http url fails:

release2cff init http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.1064392

Works for https, but would be nice if it redirected http to https.

What I Did

requests.exceptions.HTTPError: 404 Client Error: NOT FOUND for url: https://zenodo.org/api/records/http://doi.org/1064392
