Ugh, yes, that broke during the most recent update. I'll do my best, but may not be the easiest fix, I'm afraid
You can probably use either Mendeley's https://csl.mendeley.com/visualEditor/ or Zotero's https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/reference_test_pane in the meantime?
Code editor is back (see https://github.com/citation-style-language/csl-editor/commit/63342917b0770af1448bb10faee60ecdd66d4b4e for the somewhat unsatisfactory but effective solution) Thanks for reporting!
Many thanks for bringing it back, dear Sebastian!
Dear Adam
Let me first of all, prize this amazing style editor for dummies like me. It makes it possible for me to mean something in the editing of my wife's manuscripts source references.
Could it be that the editor is under construction the last few days? It doesn't seem to be operational. I opened it yesterday to optimize a style but the code editor did not load (https://editor.citationstyles.org/codeEditor/). It only shows the black top menu bar but the rest is a grey screen.
The visual editor did work but clicking on "citation 1/2/3" showed up a window one could look straight through. The latter issue must have been solved because today the citation window regained its old look. the Code Editor, however, does still not load, making it not possible for me to implement the code I'm working on, to edit it further. I use Chrome version 74.0.3729.108.
Thanks in advance to help me out.
Willem
