No need to discuss this in two different places, so closing here. The tl;dr is that the CSL Editor runs offline already, but it does require a browser and there are no plans to turn it into a standalone application.
Hello fellow users of CSL Editor,
Just popping by, because I am interested to use this editor inside as an extension, instead via a browser.
Because my faculty uses a complex variation of the Turabian style (as in yet another way to cite multimedia, archive items and such), I am wondering which coding software and extension I should install on my Mint, in order to edit the Turabian according to the guideline of my faculty. Because I use the online editor, the website start to crash once in a while to often, when the style becomes to complex to handle.
Thus in short: Is there an offline software (a standalone an/or extension for any xml writer app) to edit a style on my computer? Although I prefer a Linux software, Windows based software is a good alternative.
