Figure out a way to scroll to a species more quickly #34

Dealing with over three hundred species can be a bit cumbersome a couple thoughts on navigating the species list are to allow the user to select by Taxa and Possibly Habitat Type. I think both field exist in the species list. The othrer thought is when the user is navigating the list via the scroll bar show the alphabetical position as they scroll. Or have an text box with auto fill.

I think a two step approach to this would be best.

  1. let the user pick both a default Taxa Type and a Default Habitat Type under preferences, both of these fields are available in the species table.
  2. have an alphabet picker to refine species list see attached examples
