After using the orders menu, checking the cost of most actions by shift+click stops working.
The error is not affected by the game settings, with a reset openttd.cfg the problem still appears.
To «fix», you need to restart the game. Or check the cost of stations/rails.

(re)Open the game
Load or create a save
Create any vehicle and set any order on it
Check the cost of anything (except stations and rails) via shift+click
