@dianamartin @johnclary - are y'all aware of this inconsistency?
@amenity Yes, Edgardo had sent John and I an email back on 1/28 letting us know about this. I was waiting for John to be back in the office to talk to him about it.
Original email, 1/28/20
It was brought to my attention that the device status on Data Tracker has been showing almost all cell modems offline. I started making sure that the cell modem IP addresses for controllers were correct on the signal information. After reviewing a few, I noticed that the device status is showing online signals that had wrong IP’s and vice versa. I’m having the same problem with CCTV’s and some detectors. I had Brian C. and Jen asking about the status of these devices even when everything is up and running. I think most of their concern is based on data trackers numbers that show a lot of devices offline or not working. I would like to know if you have some time this week to sit down and talk about this to see how can we fix this.
These signals (in Red) are online but Data Tracker is not showing them online.
Data Tracker
How is the communication status 'communication outage' calculated?
Kits has 26 intersections offline but data tracker shows 16. See screenshot.
