Would it be easy to delete the following buttons from the GIS QA Work Order Details page?
I don’t think there’s a reason for GIS QA to have access to make any of these changes – I know that Cancel, Hold, Issue Jobs, and Close Work Order won’t work from the GIS QA page, but I’ve been curious to know if these buttons could be removed for a while. At best, the GIS button gets lost with the other ones as they all look the same, and at worst some details could be edited.
Request 2 - Changes to Job Details page
Could we re-organize the tables in the Job Details page for the GIS QA Markings Work Orders? Currently the tables that appear at the top are not the most useful for GIS QA, and one has to scroll to the bottom of the page to reach the important information.
The new proposed order would be:
Attachments
Time
Specifications
Materials
Comments*
Jobs from Current Work Order*
= If these tables could be collapsible with a +/- button that would be even great.
Request 3 - Specifications
This is the last request for changes to the Markings WO user interface I’ll send you today.
When I met with Susanne last week , she clarified to me that when a job has been worked on multiple days that we should use the most recent date from the Time table for each spec that was installed.
Currently, the only date that is included in the Specifications Table is Created Date, and this only indicates when each record was created. It would simplify and clarify the digitization process if we could grab the most recent Date from the Time table and assign it to each spec on the Specifications
While this could further simplify the Job Details page, I think this has potential to make the GIS QA page (which only displays the Specifications ordered by location) truly the only page that GIS QA has to look at to resolve a ticket in the vast majority of cases.
