was hoping to be able to configure the app instance on heroku to initiate the api calls that fetch data from typeform and airtable... but couldn't get things to work properly. time is running out... so ...
instead the plan will be to run scripts locally using cron jobs, then push the static data files to github (which will trigger heroku to update the public version of the app).
