As a resident, I want to be able to read up-to-date press and new releases, so that I can be informed about City matters.

As a PIO I want to have a clear destination for time sensitive press releases so that important information can be published quickly and linked to related pages without editing existing service or information pages..

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. APH PIO wants to release information about the current flu season. I think we could use official documents for this (maybe), but that content type seems more appropriate for record keeping than media-focused, time sensitive info like epidemic data.

Describe the solution you'd like I want to help PIO fulfill their role as information sharers for their depts without cluttering pages with quickly changing information.

Describe alternatives you've considered I haven't yet.

Additional context Add any other context or screenshots about the feature request here.

I think this is a good idea! It’s true that press releases are very important for departments.

We don’t use this feature at the moment, but Wagtail has built in scheduling features for posts (should be in the settings tab for a page IIRC).

So atm you could create the page you mentioned (for flu season) as either a scheduled info or service page and that should do the trick! Happy to help explain/explore this.
