sort out composition of discussion groups #30

there is a question of how the small discussion groups should be structured; this might have an effect on the q sort. Choices:

1. self-selected groups vs. (randomly) assigned groups 2. stable group composition over time vs. dynamic group composition 3. same agendas, topics vs. different topics, agendas
