Here is a list of things that I've done:

Update to latest version of Python
Update to latest version of Django
Update Bootstrap to latest version and update CSS for that
Add Let’s Encrypt certificate automation and implement HTTPS (incomplete)
Redesign of UI
Change from Google Maps to Mapbox
