The method of uploading to the site still works. The instance at districthousing.org will clear manual uploads every two hours, because it's open to the internet. The Google Drive sync is set up specifically for districthousing.org so we can have better collaboration on forms, and more restriction on upload permission.
By contrast, Bread for the City's local instance won't sync with Google Drive, and uploads directly to the app will stay there.
Anyway, I think the language on the PDF guide page should still be true when a Bread for the City employee is looking at their internal instance of District Housing. Saying "upload it to this Google Drive folder" won't be accurate for them.
Ah, that makes sense. Nevermind!
Both Liz and I were unaware that the method had not changed for Bread as well. Not sure how we would have known in the highly distributed way we make contributions. This is something we've run into repeatedly -- we should've had separate, central, clear, continually updated online instructions for Code for DC volunteers somewhere. To make the distinctions clear and tasks obvious. May be too late in the game to rethink that, however.

Yeah, I agree it's a bit confusing,
