We need to have a way to know and indicate when organizations and their repos are still active on the contributors and (secondarily the search page), so that people looking can find active projects and organizations to interact with.
Description
Lots of brigades are no longer in business that are on in our database
Some of these brigades have repos that have not been updated while others still update
Repository being actively updated with new or iterating features
Repository being updated primarily or all by bots
This influences the decision on how to display them on the “Contributors page”
Action Items
[x] Need to have a way to note when something is inactive (potential source but they may be unreliable), see if they have de-listed older brigades from the site as we still want de-listed organizations who have a repo to be listed on CTI
[x] Confirm if CFA delists inactive organizations from their website
Note: Chris Alfano reached out to Ben (CFA Brigade Network Director) in the #brigade-project-index CFA Slack channel asking if they removed inactive brigades and how often they update
