Hi, So I have this project where I am forced to use 'glmnet', however for the last 10 hours I have tried almost everything possible to install it but it is giving some sort of lame 'numpy' dependency error even though I am having latest version of numpy installed. From the original documentation at https://pypi.org/project/glmnet/ I have found out that it need fortran compiler, I have installed that too and ensured its working. But to no use. I have pasteed the error code below for better understanding. Any help regarding this will be greatly appreciated as I can not find any latest post on this that works for the current version of python and pip. Also if I need to downgrade something and than I can install it, please let me know. I have tried this too vaguely but has not worked. Thanks in advance.
