Yes... looks like a lot better with shaders 😄 ! However you're right, I plan to offer more settings in System Tools to be able to set overlay AND shaders (or not) in the future. But having this kind of settings for each emulator requires a lot of work (to find shaders which fir the best with each platform...and it will stay subjective but that's an option that I want to offer in CrossMix)! So patience but yes: it will come !
It would be highly appreciated, this is what I direclty done when I had my TSP. I didn't found an easy way, or it was enable again after a reboot. The only way I found, was to sadly and simply delete the Shaders file content in the retroarch folder. This function would be really nice if it could be activated or not in this way, integrated into the menu.
I think it would be quite useful to have an option in System Tools to disable Shaders. Since CrossMixOS already has an option to handle Overlays, I think one to handle Shaders could be in the same place.
Below, I have attached some images that respectively show where the option to disable Shaders could be placed, an example of a game with Shader enabled, where I go into Retroarch to disable the Shader, and finally, the same game with the Shader disabled.
