ROMS not Loading - Crossmix-OS v1.2.1 #140

Several systems are not loading ROMs. (Sega Genesis/ Super Nintendo/ DreamCast, and others)

The only change I made was screenscraping data for my ROMS.

I tried an OTA update, but nothing was available.

Any ideas?

Does your SD card have enough free space?

refresh roms and launch emu cleaner.
Verify your RetroArch/RetroArch.cfg that your BIOS path is still set and that you don't miss them in the folder.
if you have all files in subfolders, it may be good to keep at least one in system roms base directory as I remember some launchers don't call the common_launcher which fix subdirectory detection.
check that your internal memory isn't fullfilled and that you have at least 2GB free memory on sdcard (better keep ~2* size of your bigger game imo)

I have the same issue. Except, none of the rom are loading for me. BIOS folder is filled with my bios folders and files. I have 100GB of free space on my card.

Verify your RetroArch/RetroArch.cfg that your BIOS path is still set and that you don't miss them in the folder.

How to do this? I don't see anything related to bios in this .cfg file.

UPDATE: I had to download Tomato os and copied cores folder in the .retroarch folder. Pretty much all folders in the .retroarch folder are empty. I don't know why is that. The cores folder was also empty.

Why downloading the cores from tomato instead the core of crossmix ? This is a regression on numerous cores... Your CrossMix install file is probably corrupted, download it again or try to open it without another archive extractor.

Yeah, you're right, it was a corrupted archive.
