CubicSDR with SDRPlay pro2 device using rig control set up to local host with Hamlib.
What I am finding is if I have been using my computer and or Radio (the rig controlled radio) prior to starting Cubic SDR, when I then start it I am unable to use it as a receiver with my SDR Play. I can see signals in the waterfall and click on them and if rig control in enabled it will even control the rig controlled radio. However I am unable to open a modem. No mode selection option (fm am usb lsb cw etc. The far upper right pane is blank bandwidth is zero. I can change the bandwidth manually but makes no differenc. In the modems settings box that is the only line that is there and unable to do anything clicking that, also the minimize box is dead for that pane. NO Audio choice ever now was working now NOT.
Is there something I am missing?
Playing with this more I am starting modems however they are always zero bandwidth. reading the manual it says that I have a choice of audio out for every modem. I have NO audio choice available for any modem. In the panel 2nd from left top that has the line "modem selection" when its working below that is a line that allows audio selection. Right now there is no selection there for any modem I create. I have went through and tried various options in pulse audio but nothing shows up in Cubic even restarting it each time I made a change in Pulse......Total system restart with the rig control disabled still no audio...
