No this does not specifically show as timeout. However, it does time out after waiting for instance status to be READY. Here is the log: https://pastebin.canonical.com/p/fvt5jBqcCs/.

Y, but it still feels like 2 errors that are very different in nature. One is a very clear network timeout. The other is more like "getting stuck in the PREPARING state". Could you pls re-phrase this a bit just so the 2 issues are separate from each other?
