Drop down list of tags not working? #26

On G+, Willie Wong writes (privately):

For those of you who are using the selected papers network, a quick question on the UI: when I search for a paper on the site, it brings up an arXiv front end on which several actions are supposed to be available on the RHS.

I can

  • Add a paper to my reading list (an incredibly useful feature now that GoogleReader is on the way out)
  • Add a new tag to the paper by typing into the textbox
  • Remove a tag by unselecting its tickbox.

I, however, cannot

  • Add a tag to the paper using the "drop down list" of tags that I have previously created. The website just sits there and does nothing. The only way for me to add a tag seems to be using the free-form text field.

Question: Is it just me, or are other people seeing this too?

FWIW, I am running Iceweasel/Firefox 21 on Debian Linux.

Francois Dorais adds:

I can reproduce this with Chrome on Chromium OS.

fixed. Tag changes were only visible after logging out and back in. There was also a problem with the form validation check. Fix will be deployed to website in next update.
