Notes that I took from Nathan's lecture about creating good presentations:
6 Minute Presentation Does that time include the app demo or just slides? Answer: EVERYTHING must fit into 6 minutes!!! lol
Slides consist of the follow one by one:
rehearse rehearse rehearse.
^ above bulletpoints are available on canvas + example of the tumblrsnap presentation
thanks craig. In my experience the 6 minutes should include the demo but I've seen groups go over without cue music playing.

title, tagline
1.
show pictures of and introduce each person on the team 2.
motivation for buidling the app. why? 3.
DEMO* that shows the ENTIRE end to end flow and fulfills the motivation for building the app 4.
technical challenges. what were the challenges you had. dont tell them your real problems, tell them what you're proud of. tell them the challenges that would make them interested. who cares you had problems with fragments. so them the interesting things you were proud of being able to complete. 5.
whats next. what will you do in the next month. the next 2 months. what will your product look like. if you can share a powerful vision, people will forgive missing details. "right now we fcused on x and y, but in the future we will have z, w, v.
rehearse rehearse rehearse.

Rehearse to the point of redundancy, one time in front of an outsider and get feedback on our story. We'll also decide logistics such as what hardware/software is needed(phone, emulator, cables). Setting the projector correctly ate up 2 out of 6 alloted minutes during our internal demo.
Also, we should basically scrap our current presentation. Either use Prezi like some groups did, or something else more visually appealing.
Also incorporate some of the stats from the One Warm Coat slide deck Jennifer shared with us. Also maybe a milestones slide (see the buffer deck below).
I also think we should lean more toward an investor pitch deck . . . a couple interesting resources: http://www.marsdd.com/mars-library/how-to-create-a-pitch-deck-for-investors/ http://onstartups.com/tabid/3339/bid/98034/The-Pitch-Deck-We-Used-To-Raise-500-000-For-Our-Startup.aspx (buffer) http://reidhoffman.org/linkedin-pitch-to-greylock/ (longer read, and 'later stage' but this is Reid Hoffman giving great advice to entrepreneurs) http://www.businessinsider.com/seed-round-pitch-deck-tempate-2013-8?op=1#!J0gE3 (this is actually awesome!!! Read this one.) http://www.businessinsider.com/18-slide-pitch-deck-lands-payment-startup-dwolla-165-million-2013-4?tru=J0sBQ#-1 (I like "how cards work" slide, and "end-to-end solution" as these both seem extremely relevant to us)
Okay, enough links.
thanks Craig, I'll review those links.

We could try using something like these: http://www.haikudeck.com/startup-pitch-template-uncategorized-presentation-L06DcjrQQH# https://www.bunkr.me/ http://slides.com/ http://prezi.com/
Also found this for tips - https://medium.com/kuhcoon-com-blog/beaa87112ecf
Need to do this.
