Wear app needs to conform to Android Wear design guidelines better #4

The app currently starts as a fullscreen activity which keeps the watch screen on until the activity is dismissed. Fine for a proof-of-concept, but the UI needs to be brought up to standard (allow for background operation/restoration by notification tap).
