Could you please provide an example of how to use the blankLetter character to find anagrams? Not sure if it should be used in letters or filledLetters.

The filledLetters field is for actualised letters only. Letters are the ones that, in a game of scrabble for example, would be in your rack and have yet to be actualised/made concrete.
