IPyShell Layout issues #49

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open an IPyShell
2. Undock the Shelf by dragging it out of position

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

All the CheckBoxes in the lower right corner go out of place and are not
visible any longer.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

Editra 0.3.0, IPyShell latest svn

Hi cody, what is the os?
I've tried under windows, and don't see this.
Is it under Mac OSx?

Yes,

This is on my Mac.

I just also tested on Windows and it doesn't happen there as you mentioned. 
Though
the splitter window seems to randomly resize itself when docking and undocking 
the
window.

I taken a quick look at the splitter issue in the train back to home today.
I really don't understand the behaviour ?_?
Do you have any experience with splitters? If not will try a dummy AUI project 
to
check this, an dcome back tomorrow :)

Not a whole lot, but I know that they can be finicky some times. Some of this
behavior may also be caused by the aui manager changing the panel when its 
moved from
the main window into a floating mini frame.

You could check the code in the Projects History Window (HistWin.py) and see if 
there
is anything different in how I setup the splitter window there and how you have 
it
setup in your pane. I remember I had to something with that as well as I had 
trouble
with the splitter bar jumping randomly when it was clicked on. I think it had
something to do with setting the min and preferred size for each side of the 
splitter.

Good news,

I cant reproduce this anymore. Perhaps it was a bug in an earlier version of wx.

Closing as Fixed.
