1. Perform a long sweep or a sweep with a large FFT size
2. At random, total dongle gain may start increasing to ridiculous numbers
3. Checking spectrum, there are gaps of silence.
FCDPP appears to be returning silence at random intervals; sometimes it comes
back on before the sweep is over. Sometimes the read() calls return zero, which
according to javadoc indicates a closed or flushed connection - but by whom? No
known threads performing this action.
Workaround is to use a smaller FFT size, use shorter sweeps, and try again.
Confirmed this on a PC and a laptop, both running ubuntu 13.04.
