Dependency updates #188

The recent release flagged a couple of minor vulnerabilities:

Both of these (and the projects that bring them in) have newer versions - these upgrades should be done sometime soon. I am sure there are others lagging behind. It might also be time to bump up the supported JDK veriosn.
