Yes this is very useful when managing multiple remote servers. You don't need 
to "log in" to the actual server desktop just to view logs.

I was thinking about naming the log files for the engine with time-stamp 
instead of the .1, .2, .3 etc.
Would that make log files easier to use?

Does not matter to me. I have some extra log processing in botsengine.py which 
appends some log info to other daily logs for reporting etc.
