CKAN “forum” on github for people to ask questions which is separate from main issue tracker (or stackoverflow)
I notice there are lot of "how do I" type questions that show up on gitter or elsewhere and it would be good to have some kind of place to direct people to. I've been experimenting with "forum-as-github-tracker" for Frictionless Data and it has been working quite well so i suggest we could trial here.
Why github issues vs ...
Discourse: nothing new to install or maintain. Project is already on github and most people with questions are here.
Stackoverflow: (more of a complement to stackoverflow - people will ask there). Again issue tracker here is closer to project than stackoverflow. Close to core dev team. Controlled by the project.
Chat: chat has poor threading and no way to resolve things. No perma-urls etc etc. Chat isn't a forum.
