Maintained? or possible for wayland? #21

this is alternative to ueberzugpp that supports wayland.

I was going to suggest the same, it would be great to add support for it.

Also, would it be possible to make chafa another alternative dependency to ueberzug. This would allow Sixel or ASCII fallback.

Bump. I miss ucollage very much, would love to use it on Wayland which is increasingly common.

I have implemented initial ueberzugpp support in branch ueberzugpp. You can check it out here: https://github.com/ckardaris/ucollage/tree/ueberzugpp. I am not currently on Wayland, so I would be interested to know if it works for you. I will start preparing a proper release soon.

Thanks for the update!

That seems to work except the thumbnails vanish when the text below them shows up a fraction of a second later. This ma or may not be exacerbated by the fact that I ran the test on a relatively slow device (under Droidian, Wayland):
