How about renaming CHANGES.md to CHANGELOG.md? I see that the only reason for sticking with good old CHANGES.md is because this the way it's done in CKE4 repo.
We can already see that CKF3 went with a CHANGELOG.md instead.
Just because our new products aren't yet documented with it, it might be a good moment to change it for the future projects, so that it has more standard name.
