Table tools and list style plugins should not force custom context menu #1204

Currently there's no way to load tabletools/liststyle plugin without adding a custom context menu. This is something that part of community would like to avoid.

Reason for this is that these plugins has a ​hard requirement on it, and this is how we need to proceed, because by default contextmenu is the only way how people can interact with it.

Hi @mlewand, is there an update on this Issue? We'd love to be able to use tabletools without having to bring in contextmenu.

Hello @joheredi, we weren't able to move forward with this feature due to other priorities. I added it to the backlog which should speed things up a litte.
