Cannot escape keyboard shortcut formatting with enter

Steps

1. Click on Add keyboard shortcut toolbar icon
2. Add some text
3. Press enter a few times

Expected

After pressing enter you should be able to type normal text.

Actual

You cannot escape from the keyboard shortcut formatting using enter:
