Attribution & Acknowledgements "We acknowledge the communities and projects that established code of conducts and diversity statements, particularly the Universal Code of Conduct that is the foundation for this document, the Google Polymer Code of Conduct and the Ultimate Community Guidelines." Many sections and phrases of CoCs are used and adapted so Makers Academy could have taken them from the same sources we did (e.g. the Universal) and others - and formulated their own as well, as needed. Most of our guidelines are built on the Ultimate Community Guidelines which were mainly formulated by the same community member who was involved in the guidelines we published here. We formulated them in 2018.
Hi @ckohtala! What is the provenance of these guidelines? Did they come from somewhere else, or is this original work? Some of the language appears in the Makers Academy Code of Conduct and this appears to have been the case since 2016 at the latest. I was interested in where this originated from, and whether it was a creation of the folks at Makers, or whether they borrowed it from elsewhere.
