Used to work when first posted not working and silently failing (nothing in browser dev console, qrcode js loads fine) 2023-08-13 with current browsers:

Mozilla Firefox 116.0.2 (64-bit)
Microsoft Edge Version 115.0.1901.200 (Official build) (64-bit)
