Which frontend framework should I use?

Suggestion: https://github.com/google/web-starter-kit: Uses gulp. Generates fast loading html and enables to write ES2015. Layout is like this: https://getmdl.io/ License: Apache 2.0

I would just go for a static generator like Hugo or Jekyll to begin with @BudickDa, it doesn't need to be fancy!
