Support for HP Mini 1000

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install 1.0.5
2. Restart Mini
3. Try finding configuration or using two finger gestures
4. Try re-installing and errors out instructing that device has not
restarted or gestures are not supported

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

After a restart two finger gestures do not work, no configuration options
are found, re-installation attempts result in dialogue box indicating
system is not supported.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

XP SP3

Please provide any additional information below.

This is a stock HP Mini 1030NR straight from BestBuy with all the latest
updates

ya same issue here, the 1030nr uses a synaptics touchpad. installed is v7.2 out 
of
the box.

installed the two finger scroll software on another hp laptop (nc6400) no 
issues, but
it refuses to work on this machine for some reason

Ditto with a HP mini 1030NR with Windows 7 installed with the latest synaptics 
driver.

I believe the hardware supports it, I previously had this device Hackintoshed 
with a 
kext that enabled two finger scroll in OS X.

HP Mini 1030NR windows XP SP3

installed the software, restarted per instructed, nothing happen after the 
restart.

I really like to see this working on mini.
