Minor fixes to typos/links + LF line breaks #74

fixes #73. fixes #4 by deleting the empty guideline.

Updates all files in the repo to LF.

Clarifying for the history: We decided that there is not a need to touch the chyron golds to update their CRLF formatting yet because they will need to be updated in #56 where they will need to be updated anyway.

Therefore, the template.md file is the one that got a LF change.
