This PR is not for merging, but just for the reference.
It contains minimal amount of patches required to make runit compile on these GCC versions:
It includes these patches:
In my fork of your repo there is also maillist-recommended branch which adds 3 extra patches recommended in runit maillist on top of this PR (it also compiles and pass tests on all gcc versions listed above):
maillist-recommended
I propose you to stick to these 3 or 6 patches for the moment, merge it to the portage, and then make any other changes you want on top of these.
