Musikcube not identifying ogg vorbis tags #627

It works fine with mp3 files. But today I decided to use ogg vorbis format. Musikcube plays the song correctly, but every ogg file is in the unknown category, not being recognized by artist, music name and etc. Is this supposed to happen? I'm using PopOs 22.04, Musikcube 3.0.1 and the terminal is Alacritty 0.11.0.

That's definitely not expected -- a lot of my personal collection is in ogg/vorbis. Would it be possible for you to supply me with a sample file? You can email it to casey[dot]langen[at]gmail[dot]com

Ok, I've made some more tests on ogg vorbis files. Some worked, some not. Sent you two files. Both are ogg vorbis. I don't know if it is related (possibly), but the ones that didn't work kind of have a "video part" (basically the album image), with a codec called Theora.

Hmm, I don't seem to have received the files... did the email bounce back? If not, can you try to forward the original email? Maybe there was a typo when de-obfuscating my email. Can you try: casey.langen@gmail.com
