The help page (as of version 4.0 of the VLO) should be extended/adapted in a number of ways:

add instructions on using the Language Resource Switchboard
describe ranking logic (or point to a FAQ that does that)
add links to a number of external resources that are now only linked from the about page, such as the FAQ
once implemented, add a link or button to trigger the guided tour (see #7)
link to information about procedure for inclusion of metadata in the VLO (see Davor's comment below)

Use screenshots to illustrate the various sections and make them easier to identify/navigate.

A colleague asked me yesterday where is information in VLO about how one can provide resources to it. It is tricky to find it, the information is "hidden" in Help/About page behind FAQ. Maybe we should discuss about making this information more visible to users

I will also look at restructuring the help page, maybe adding a (dynamic) table of contents to make it easier to navigate the large(r) amount of content. The Bootstrap documentation can serve as an example of a large page that still allows you to find the right information quite easily.
