Internal errors and unresponsive buttons when trying to delete items from a published VC

Wanting to update the resources in VC-1093 ("Europeana historical newspapers: Serbia"), which has been published but not marked as immutable, I opened it in the editor from via the 'my collections' listing.

I have not managed to remove more than a few items. See screenshots:

This happens most of the time. It also happens that:

• nothing happens when clicking the bin icon
• a popup appears asking to confirm the deletion, which (sometimes??) also happens after confirmation

I couldn't detect any kind of pattern to this other than it failing with an internal error most of the time.

I could also replicate this with other collections with a similar status.

I was able to produce a similar issue at https://alpha-collections.clarin.eu (vr168c063) - no exceptions but the delete action didn't seem to have any effect.
