We have checked, and the license issue is related to the fact that this entry does not contain a resource, but a link to datahub. CLARIN-DSPACE does not seem to allow you to insert a license when there is no deposit, at least from the web form. We checked and this issue is common to other repositories using DSPACE (such as Lindat). Can we find a common fix?

Thanks!

I know that Martin Wynne @ the Oxford Text Archive obviated this restriction requiring deposited data for assigning licences in DSPACE in the case of this corpus: http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12024/2564 This corpus can be downloaded under a CC-BY licence, but not from the OTA. What Martin did was he uploaded the corpus documentation so that he could assign the licence. Though I think this is an effective workaround to get the licence, perhaps a more principled solution is warranted at one point.

Or rather, it's not just the documentation, but the first "file" under "Files for this item" is a redirect to the external landing page. I guess this could work also in the case of the CLARIN IT repo?

See here for an example of how a resource that isn't deposited in a repo nevertheless has licence information:
