Thanks, Denis! We'll take a look at all the information you have provided.
@luis-meteogrid I've also found a source of layers (shape) available to download. They are supposed to be the same available in OpenStreetMap: http://download.geofabrik.de/europe.html
Is this still relevant? For which purpose do you need this data? As input for models or just for visualisation purposes? In the later case, OSM is already available in CSIS as one of the Base Layers:
The "urban infrastructure" CLARITY pan-european data package concentrates on main cities. Traffic data package would rather concentrate on inter-city roads, railways and related infrastructure. Some possible data sources:
[ ] Open Transport Data https://www.europeandataportal.eu/en/highlights/open-transport-data Plenty of data sets, but very fragmented. Most sets just cover a small area, but these are pan-european https://www.europeandataportal.eu/data/datasets?locale=en&country=eu&categories=tran&page=1
[ ] Mobility and transport data from https://ec.europa.eu/transport/road_safety/specialist/toolbox_en Recommendations for collection and exploitation of risk exposure data sounds interesting, but I don't see any actual data.
[ ] SafetyNet data https://erso.swov.nl/safetynet/content/safetynet.htm Some statistics on various types of accidents.
[ ] "Availability and access to road data" https://ec.europa.eu/transport/themes/its/road/action_plan/availability_and_access_to_road_data_en Maybe the "useful links" section hides something useful?
