This is an awsome project, I like it, but may I ask why you guys fork, instead of pull request on @ryanfitz /vogels, so what's the difference?
Does this repository ( @ryanfitz/vogels ) not maintain anymore?

Last commit was January 1, despite many PRs since then, and no word from @ryanfitz about it. PRs there were getting ignored.
