Error Connecting to Host #89

Preconditions

  1. Magento 2.1.9 CE
  2. PHP 7.0.24
  3. Apache/2.4.23 CentOS
  4. Redis enabled
  5. All Caches enabled

Steps to reproduce

  1. Nothing was changed.
  2. I've gotten a few errors of "Could not connect to host"
  3. Happened today at 11:30 a.m. and the time before that was October 27th

Expected result

  1. Should not have issues connecting to host

Actual result

  1. Error connecting to host. Not sure what would cause this.

@pioneerathletics This is almost certainly caused by an issue outside the scope of this extension. I've seen occasions where the Avalara API is unavailable for a brief period, so that may be the issue. If you continue to experience these issues, I'd recommend contacting Avalara to see if they're experiencing any network issues. Closing this issue.
