MCU-148 - As a user, I want to be able to center the position of the outdoor map on my current position

  1. Given I am viewing the outdoor map.
  2. I am able to select the compass button
  3. in selecting the compass button, I am able to center the map to my current location

I cannot see the current user marker. The compass also does not work.

I used Android 29 and also my physical device is Android 29. Both of them have initially the location turned off. Upon starting the app it asks for location and I give location permission. But there is no user location at all. Am I missing something?

@mkshiblu It is possible that you need to close the app fully (not minimize it) and re-open it for the changes to take effect.

Just tested it from a fresh install and can confirm that this fixes it.

ACCEPTED. Thanks for the feedback. Yes, after killing the app it works. So it's a bug that you can fix if you continue to work on the app.
