add generic run_examples.py for all repo/examples directories #172

A script like this was previously in the examples directory of classic, amrclaw, geoclaw. Avoid repetition and make it easier to modify.

@mandli: Good point, maybe that's why they were in the examples directories originally to make it easier to adjust. I'm not sure anyone ever runs these scripts except developers when remaking the gallery or for testing purposes, so that's why I set them the way I usually want them for that purpose, but I will reconsider...

@mandli: I thought of that but it seems cleaner to not set anything different from the user's environment without them proactively looking at the script.
