Remove try-except block from `ClawRunData` #79

A try-except block was put in temporarily to support the merge of the storm surge capabilities into the main source of GeoClaw (PR clawpack/geoclaw#80). Please do not remove the try-except block until clawpack/geoclaw#80 is resolved.
