Impossible to combine printing jobs without doing a workaround #49

I know this repo of ClawPDF is mostly abandoned, but this is something i know i did before and now doesn't work.

If i print in the PDF printer a few pages, and i want to combine them, normally you wait a bit or go to the combine button to look all printing jobs stacking there. Now that doesn't happen, it only shows the first one, the one what brings the ClawPDF dialog.

But there is a trick, if you close that dialog and try to print again that first page (or any page, but if i interesed in that being part of the final pdf is what you need to do), or open the ClawPDF option screen, it pops the dialog again, but this time with everything stacked, without that first part which i cancelled, but with the last part that invoked ClawPDF (that's why is the same as the first) and you can order and combine them.

I think i did this before without doing that workaround, maybe something change in the Windows 10 printer service?

Fixed with version 0.8.5? I could not reproduce the behavior.

Hi, just tested 0.8.5 and for me it's doing exactly the same.

I just saw that i can send some logs (i think i didn't do it before because i saw this abandoned, and forgot about it), so i try to use ClawPDF to print and combine three test PDFs one page each, first, trying to using it normally, and a second attempt using the trick, both as explained above in the OP. I used in both the log in DEBUG level.

clawPDF_Issue_NotStacking.log clawPDF_Issue_NotStacking_UsingTrick.log

If i can do anything more to find the issue, tell me.

Thanks for the two logs! I see now where the problem is. I'll post a test version here once I get it fixed.

It seems it works! I've have been able to combine several prints directly without doing any trick, only keeping the combine dialog opened and printing, all appeared there and only need to combine and save them.
