networkprinting not working on Windows #95

Hi, Im not able to get the network printing to work.

I did the steps described under "https://github.com/clawsoftware/clawPDF/wiki/Install-as-Network-Printer". The output says everything is setup correctly. No errors or warnings in the eventlogs I viewed. However when I print local everything works as expected. When using a shared printer on another pc this isn't the case.

As far as the logs says everything gets spooled correctly (on the source PC) and even arrives at the destination (printserver). On the printserver itself I can see that the document is passed to clawmon: "Document 200, Print Document owned by [Username] on [SourcePC] was printed on [Printername] through port CLAWMON:. Size in bytes: 4592691. Pages printed: 1. No user action is required."

After this there is nothing. No Output ... no Error ...

The logfile of clawPDF itself (Application Settings > Debug > Show log file) has nothing in it that refers to this whole process. Just the local prints get monitored. Logging-Level is set to "Trace"

Any ideas what I do wrong?

same Problem here.

Same problem here, local printing over the user logged in on the Windows Server 2022 works fine. The shared printer seems to do nothing, nothing in clawPDFs logs, but I can see the print job on the Windows Server. It has status "completed" after a few seconds. No PDF anywhere.

I have also made various attempts, but there is nothing, the logs are not displayed, and the files have not been saved

Any update here?

I didn't had (and have) time to investigate this more. The fact that there aren't any logs also don't give me more motivation to do this ... if there is a fix for this I would really appreciate it ... but I also can understand if not
